Aldrich STL project materializes one of the most tragic and deeply unsettling encounters in FromSoftware lore: the dark fate of the last deity of Anor Londo. Modeled in a perfect 1/8 collector’s scale, the statue showcases the terrifying duality of the Lord of Cinder. The upper body presents the pale, slender figure of Gwyndolin being manipulated like an ethereal puppet, wearing his iconic golden sun crown, flowing royal robes with detailed trim, and wielding the Darkmoon Bow in a tense, ready-to-fire combat pose. His silky white hair billows dramatically, injecting superb kinetic energy into the composition. Beneath the divine vestments, however, the horror unfolds as his body morphs into Aldrich’s true form: a massive, twisting serpentine tail made from a corrupted sludge of trapped souls, hundreds of individually detailed skeletal skulls, and jagged bone spurs coiling down toward the ground.
The overall layout rests on an atmospheric diorama base depicting the defiled floors of the Anor Londo cathedral. The circular base replicates the iconic gothic architecture submerged in the devourer’s liquid dark mass, out of which broken spiritual arrows and skeletal remains emerge, appearing to float in the corrupted sludge.
